LMR Territory Sales Manager
Currently we are seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, Texas, or Rockville, MD. This candidate will identify, develop and consummate sales opportunities within the local, state, and federal government, major business and industrial marketplace for the product line. Take full responsibility for the development of this line of product sales, develop and manage sales initiatives to build product sales, and coordinate the efforts of the team. Maximize company resources in the interest of profitability goals.
Principle Duties/ Responsibilities Include; but not limited to:
Achieve sales goals as agreed on with senior management.
Provide yearly strategic plans and quarterly tactical plans to meet sales goals.
Take the role of sales expert for line of products.
Develop new and ongoing business relationships with dealers, partners and customers to build product sales.
Travel at a minimum of 25%, to work with dealers, partners, and end users, and develop new business relationships.
In dealing with internal and external customers, communicate and follow up with them in a timely manner.
Follow up on any verbal or written promises.
Identify, qualify, track and develop sales leads and opportunities.
Develop and maintain ongoing account profiles and history. Effectively communicate all relevant information both internally and externally as required. Establish awareness of the internal and external political climate as it impacts accounts and establish and develop critical relationships accordingly. Evaluate the state of the competition as it relates to products and define appropriate strategies to offset competitive strengths.
Operate within budgetary constraints. Maximize company resources in the interest of profitability goals. Serve as the voice of the customer by striving to maintain customer satisfaction and working to resolve any customer inquiries or complaints.
Education and Experience :
Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience
Proven sales success for 10 or more years in IPC and Broadband Business. Manage Honeywell and other key accounts.
Previous experience selling networking and wireless solutions
Experienced in technology sales
Experienced in developing/growing business
Experience with Federal Markets and Wireless Broadband/LMR
Experience working consultative sales through CIO or other technology-focused channels
International Sales experience a plus
